Elijah Rides His Bike!

We had such a gorgeous day here today, low 70's and a beautiful blue sky! What better time then to bust out the dusty old bikes and go for a spin. Elijah hasn't riden his bike in over a year because, not only is he addicted to riding his scooter, but his bike still has training wheels on it. There are a couple of 'family bike races' Elijah's heard me talk about over the last few months and he's showed interest in riding them with me. I've told him not until he can ride his bike without training wheels-so he decided today was the day. As soon as Wes and Elijah were headed out the door to take off the training wheels I was busting out the camcorder. Wes just rolls his eyes at me saying, "come on mom, it's not like he's going to actually take off riding today!" Good thing I rarely listen to Wes because I brought out the camera anyway! ;) Not only did Elijah ride his bike all by him self today, he took off solo after about 5 minutes of coaching. He did so amazing and, of course, I got it all on video. Enjoy!
